Art Gallery Exhibition & Live Painting

Holiday Sip & Paint

Gallery 600 hosted a festive Holiday Edition of Sip, Shop & Paint, featuring a guided painting experience with local artist Constance Ivana. Guests were guided painting step by step at the gallery that is inspired by Fort Lauderdale’s historic landmarks while gallery curator Abby Laughlin shared stories behind the city’s mid-century past. The evening celebrated local art, creativity, and community in a warm, holiday setting.

Located in North Beach Village, Gallery 600 opened with a mission to preserve Fort Lauderdale’s mid-century architectural history while creating a welcoming space for locals and visitors. Founded by Abby Laughlin, real estate developer, artist, and collector. The gallery showcases detailed drawings and prints of once-iconic motels and buildings, many of which have since been replaced by modern developments.
Alongside her artwork and companion book, the gallery features curated retro-inspired pieces and works by local artists, offering visitors the chance to take home a tangible piece of Fort Lauderdale’s past. Connected to the Wine Garden next door, Gallery 600 also serves as a social hub for gatherings, artist events, and community conversations.
