Located in North Beach Village, Gallery 600 opened with a mission to preserve Fort Lauderdale’s mid-century architectural history while creating a welcoming space for locals and visitors. Founded by Abby Laughlin, real estate developer, artist, and collector. The gallery showcases detailed drawings and prints of once-iconic motels and buildings, many of which have since been replaced by modern developments.
Alongside her artwork and companion book, the gallery features curated retro-inspired pieces and works by local artists, offering visitors the chance to take home a tangible piece of Fort Lauderdale’s past. Connected to the Wine Garden next door, Gallery 600 also serves as a social hub for gatherings, artist events, and community conversations.
More than a gallery, Gallery 600 is an ode to an era where history, creativity, and community come together.
